Condolence: My acquaintance with Pietra was through my daughter, Megan, but I felt I 'knew" Pietra just from the way Megan spoke of her dear friend. Then a few weeks ago, I got to spend a precious few hours with Pietra and her dear Mum, Nella. They both made a huge impression on me, their quiet strength and determination in this journey they were on together was most humbling. I am so sorry that I did not get the chance to know this kind, giving 'warrior' Pietra better, but in the short time I knew her she managed to make a huge 'dent' in my heart. To her Mum, Nella and her son, Xavier I offer my deepest condolences.

Condolence: Pietra was a wonderful friend to many. I always loved going on sales calls with her during our time in radio together, as I knew we'd end up having the most amazing chats on our way there and back. After we stopped working together, I looked forward to our coffee dates and visits. I loved when you would join us, Xavier, as her love for you was infectious. I looked to her many times for advice when I too became a mom. She was a true friend - even in her most difficult days of her journey, she'd ask how I was doing. I will always remember her unwavering spirit, strength, compassion for others and her love of her family and friends. I am honoured to have known her. We are all better people for having had Pietra in our lives. Nella and Xavier, I hope you find comfort in knowing how many lives Pietra touched. You are in my heart and my thoughts.

Condolence: Dear Family I remember Pietra as kind and caring person, who was an excellent student during her time at St. Mary’s high school. Condolence: I've had the wonderful privilege of having a sweet little girl call me, "Auntie". From her early days in Lethbridge, Pietra has always been such a positive and vibrant soul. I treasured every meeting with her, always counting on the opportunity to catch up with what was going on in her life at each of her nephews' birthdays.
